At Corporal Daegan Page Foundation, we are thrilled to introduce our Buddy Check program—a heartfelt initiative aimed at fostering connections, camaraderie, and support among veterans, active-duty members, and Gold Star/Loved One members. We understand the unique challenges that everyone may be facing and we believe in the power of community to make a positive impact on lives.

What is Buddy Check?
Buddy Check goes beyond the ordinary gathering; it's a commitment to building relationships and understanding among those who have served and their loved ones. Inspired by the camaraderie Daegan cherished during his time in the Marine Corps, our program is designed to create a space where veterans, active-duty members, and Gold Star families can come together, share experiences, and form lasting connections.
Why Buddy Check?
Military life brings its own set of joys and challenges, and we recognize the importance of a strong support network. Buddy Check provides an inclusive environment where individuals can come together, whether you're a veteran, active-duty member, or part of a Gold Star family, to share stories, find common ground, and know that you're surrounded by a community that cares.
How to Get Involved
Whether you're a veteran looking for camaraderie, an active-duty member seeking connections, or a Gold Star family member wanting to share experiences, we welcome you to be a part of Buddy Check. To attend our events or learn more please check the DaeWay Day calendar below.
Together, We Build Stronger Bonds
Join us in celebrating the unique bond shared by veterans, active-duty members, and Gold Star families. Buddy Check is more than an event; it's a commitment to building a community that understands and supports each other. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming gatherings.
