Active Duty, Veteran, Gold Star Family Member
Life doesn’t always give time to prepare and unexpected hardships can hit especially hard. The Hardship and Emergency Support Fund provides fast, compassionate help in moments of urgent need. Each request is reviewed personally and taken seriously. When approved and funding is available, assistance is often provided within five business days. There’s no red tape, just respect, dignity, and a commitment to showing up when life turns upside down.
Active Duty, Veteran, Gold Star Family Member
Inspired by Daegan’s love for hockey and the way he gave his all, this grant program helps Active Duty service members, Veterans, and Gold Star Family members stay active, join teams, and participate in sports by covering costs like registration fees, team dues, and equipment. The goal is to remove financial barriers, support mental and emotional resilience, and foster healing through movement and connection. For many in the military and Gold Star community, sports offer more than physical activity. They bring structure, support, and a sense of purpose. Whether it's returning to a rink after deployment, joining a team after loss, or helping a child reconnect after losing a parent, this program helps individuals keep moving forward. The name reflects Daegan’s legacy of full effort and full heart. All Out means showing up with everything you have. All In means choosing to belong, to connect, and to heal through action.
Anchor Commons is a welcoming community space in Omaha’s NoDo neighborhood where Active Duty, Veterans, Gold Star families, and supporters can gather, connect, and heal. It offers a mix of programming and purpose, including peer support groups, educational workshops, social events, counseling resources, and quiet space for reflection. The space hosts gatherings, and collaborations with nonprofits and local businesses. Anchor Commons is built to meet people where they are, creating a sense of belonging, stability, and shared strength rooted in the values Daegan lived by.
Buddy Check is a community-driven initiative inspired by Daegan’s love for connection and the close bonds he shared with his fellow Marines. It brings Veterans, Active Duty service members, Gold Star families, and loved ones together to check in on each other, share space, and strengthen support systems. Whether it's through a coffee, a walk, or a simple message, the goal is to remind one another that no one has to carry the weight alone. Buddy Check encourages consistent, meaningful connection and reinforces the truth that being there for each other can save lives.
Our Education Support Program opens doors to the next chapter for graduating seniors in Conestoga and Millard Public Schools by providing financial assistance for continuing education. Whether students aim to attend a university, community college, or trade school, this program helps cover costs beyond tuition; like certification fees, licensing, tools, books, and supplies. =
The Community Champion Grants program provides monthly funding, typically between $500 and $10,000, to local 501(c)(3) nonprofits that align with our mission to honor service, strengthen communities, and carry forward the legacy of those who have served and sacrificed. We prioritize funding for specific programs or projects rather than general operating expenses. Applications must be submitted using our standard form by the 20th of each month to be considered in the next review cycle. Past recipients have included organizations that build safe skate spaces, improve youth hockey facilities, distribute care packages to veterans, support service dog programs, and sponsor veteran hockey tournaments.

Remembering Abbey Gate
On August 26, 2021, a suicide bombing at Abbey Gate outside Kabul’s airport killed 13 U.S. service members and nearly 200 Afghan civilians. The attacker, linked to ISIS-K, struck during the final days of the U.S. withdrawal, making it the deadliest day for American forces in over a decade.
